Kululu - a pendant light
What if light could sense your presence?
KULULU responds only when it feels someone near — gently swaying into motion. Its form, a double helix of curves and lines, begins to slowly sway and turn, as if acknowledging your existence. Drawn to its quiet glow, people move closer, in that quiet moment of movement and presence, perhaps they feel seen — reflected in the light itself.
Spiral lines are made of Japanese traditional paper by Origami approach, as a light material to be swayed by a subtle wind from people passing by.
